Confidence through clarity
Trust & Safety
Families deserve clear information. Operators deserve simple tools that help them communicate responsibly.
Demonstration statement. This page communicates CareHomeSimple’s intended trust principles. Operational procedures will be finalized and reviewed before launch.
Our Commitment to Families
Choosing care is personal and often time-sensitive. CareHomeSimple aims to help families understand a home’s setting, services, contact options, and current availability without exaggerated claims or unnecessary complexity.
Accuracy Matters
Public information should reflect the care home as it is today. Operators are encouraged to review meaningful changes promptly, use specific language, and remove information that is no longer current.
Respect for Resident Privacy
Residents are people, not marketing material. Public pages should never reveal a resident’s name, image, diagnosis, daily record, health information, personal history, or other identifying details without an appropriate lawful process.
Professional Conduct
CareHomeSimple expects respectful, honest communication. Harassment, discriminatory content, deceptive statements, unsafe advice, and attempts to pressure or exploit families are inconsistent with the service.
Trustworthy Public Information
Descriptions, photographs, amenities, services, and contact information should be understandable and supportable. Availability should be presented as a current status—not a guarantee of admission, suitability, or placement.
Official Information vs Operator Information
When official licensing or regulatory information is displayed, it should be clearly distinguished from information entered by the care-home operator. Source labels, review dates, and links should help families understand where information came from.
Reporting Inaccurate Information
Families, operators, and community partners should be able to report information they reasonably believe is inaccurate, misleading, unsafe, or privacy-invasive. Reports will be handled respectfully and should include enough detail for a fair review.
Our Review Process
A future review process may involve checking the reported page, requesting clarification from the operator, temporarily limiting disputed content, and documenting the outcome. Urgent privacy or safety concerns would receive priority.
