Privacy and transparency
Privacy Policy
A plain-language overview of how CareHomeSimple is designed to handle information with care and respect.
Demonstration document. This page illustrates the intended structure and approach of a future policy. It is not final legal language and will be reviewed before public launch.
Information We Collect
CareHomeSimple may collect account details, care-home business information, product settings, and limited technical information needed to operate and protect the service. Future production documentation will identify each category, why it is needed, and the choices available to users.
Information You Choose to Share
Operators decide what business information to enter, including care-home descriptions, services, photographs, contact details, and availability. Optional form entries should be limited to information appropriate for the stated purpose.
Public Information vs Private Information
Public-page information is intentionally selected for families to view. Internal operating records, staff details, notes, credentials, and resident-related information are not intended for public display. CareHomeSimple is designed to keep these contexts clearly separated.
Cookies
A production service may use essential cookies or similar browser storage to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and support security. Any nonessential analytics or preference tools would be described with appropriate controls.
Security
CareHomeSimple intends to use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No online service can promise absolute security, so the production policy will also explain how suspected incidents can be reported.
Data Retention
Information should be retained only for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legitimate business or legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain appropriate records. Specific production retention periods will be documented before launch.
Third-Party Services
Some features may rely on carefully selected providers for hosting, communications, maps, or similar functions. CareHomeSimple will describe relevant providers and limit shared information to what is reasonably necessary for their role.
Contact Information
Questions about privacy or information handling may be sent through the CareHomeSimple Contact page. A dedicated privacy contact and mailing information will be added to the final policy.
