Simple standards help care homes present useful information while protecting the dignity and privacy of residents.

Care Home Description
Describe the home in clear, specific language that a family can understand. Statements should reflect the actual setting and approach to support without promising outcomes or making unsupported comparisons.
Photos
Use current, well-lit photographs of the home and relevant shared spaces. Images should be accurate, respectful, lawfully used, and free of residents, visitors, documents, medication labels, or other identifying information.
Amenities
List amenities that are genuinely available and explain material limitations where needed. Avoid labels that could cause a family to assume a feature, level of access, or service the home does not provide.
Availability Information
Availability must be reviewed regularly and presented as a current indication rather than a guarantee. Expected dates should be described carefully when timing is not confirmed.
Contact Information
Provide a monitored business phone number, email address, and address according to the operator’s public visibility choices. Contact details should help families reach the appropriate person without exposing private staff information.
Services Offered
Only list services the home is prepared and authorized to provide. Public wording should not be interpreted as medical advice, an admission decision, or a guarantee that a service is appropriate for a particular person.
No Resident Information
Do not publish resident names, photographs, testimonials that identify residents, schedules, room assignments, personal histories, family details, or information that could reasonably reveal who lives in the home.
No Protected Health Information
Public pages are never the place for diagnoses, medications, assessments, care plans, appointment details, incident information, or any other protected or sensitive health information.
Neutral Presentation of Official Licensing Information
Official information should be attributed to its source and shown neutrally. Operator-entered statements must not imply government endorsement, alter the meaning of an official status, or omit context necessary to understand the information.
Public Page Review Process
CareHomeSimple may review pages for clarity, privacy, safety, and alignment with these standards. Operators may be asked to update, support, or remove content. Serious concerns may result in a page or feature being temporarily limited while it is reviewed.
